An Emmy-Award winning sports journalist, Dean Blevins is known nation-wide for his professionalism and versatility.

Dean played quarterback on two National Championship teams (1974 & 1975) and four Big 8 Championship teams (1974-1977). He is the only athlete to have lettered in both football and basketball at the University of Oklahoma in the past 45 years.

A high school All-American in football and basketball, Dean was voted All-State in football, basketball and as a track sprinter. The Tulsa Tribune voted him the Oklahoma basketball player of the year in 1973 and was named the Oklahoma Prep Athlete of the Year winning the Jim Thorpe Award and winning the Oklahoma Coaches’ award.

Dean served as a college football analyst and sideline reporter during the past 19 years for ABC, ESPN, ESPN2 and CBS. He has broadcast other events including basketball, baseball, hockey, tennis, boxing, wresting, marathons, track & field, and gymnastics.

Dean is currently busy working a myriad of jobs. He is the sports direcetor at KWTV in Oklahoma City, Sports Director and co-host for the highly rated Oklahoma Statewide Sports Blitz. He has been the sports director KATT-FM in Oklahoma City since 1988 and hosts a popular afternoon drive-time sports radio show called "The Total Dominance Hour" on WWLS-AM The Sports Animal .

Host of weekly shows for numerous personalities including: Bob Stoops & Gary Gibbs (OU Football), Jerry Jones, Barry Switzer (Dallas Cowboys/University of Oklahoma), Kelvin Sampson (Oklahoma Basketball), and Eddie Sutton (Oklahoma State basketball).
Voted Oklahoma Sportscaster-of-the-Year (1989, 1992, 1995, 2004)

Voted one of the "Best Dressed Men in Sports" by Sport Magazine along with Dan Marino and Walter Payton (1995).

Voted Jay Meyer Award winner (1974 going to top OU scholar-athlete).
